How to reduce stress (Part 3: Practical tips on how to reduce stress)

As mentioned before, procrastination can be considered the MOTHER of all stress because it is a MAN-MADE STRESS. Now that we already know the causes and effects of stress, let us together learn how we can manage stress to the maximum because too much stress has mad the world an uglier place to live in.

Solutions

1. Do not allow procrastination become your permanent habit. Let me give you an analogy. Can you swallow a whole chicken? No one can do that. We have to start a chunk or perhaps we can start with wings. Nevertheless, we can never swallow a wing because our trachea is not designed to swallow over-sized food. And because we are not flamingos which can swallow a fish.  Divide the workload and do it one by one according to priorities. If this becomes a habit,  we will be able to enjoy a life without destructive or unnecessary stress.

2. Do not try to make EVERYTHING perfect because nothing can be perfect and because MAN-MADE CREATION can never be perfect because time and termites will take away all of the things or people that we love. Furthermore, the word perfection is too subjective to be debated. The single ones should learn to be practical when it comes to getting a soul mate. No one on earth will perfectly meet our expectation or OUR PERFECT IMAGINATION. There will be a lot of repairs to be done throughout the relationship, friendship or marriage because EVERYTHING IS A LEARNING PROCESS. If that person please your eyes PHYSICALLY, that does not mean everything is perfect internally. If everything is so perfect, God would have created everything  on earth so that we can be the best SLOTH on earth. God wants us to make up some efforts to beautify this world by giving us a MYSTERIOUS but POWERFUL BRAIN to assist us throughout this roller coaster.

3. Too much stress and WORRIES cannot solve our problems. Previous wise scholars and well-known writers have mentioned about this repeatedly through thousands of publications. Even the holy books mentioned the same thing. As stated earlier, too much stress or worries can really destroy our connection with our Creator. Only positive and concrete actions can help us solve our problems and reduce our worries. Albert Einstein used to say that insanity is expecting a different result by doing the same thing. If our own bad habits are causing us to worry unnecessarily, do something about it, not just sit there thinking about it and end up doing nothing  about it. We cannot just sit there hoping for others or ANGELS to give us the solutions all the time. God has given us the BRAIN and HEART to assist us to find the most suitable solutions to help us solve our problems.

4. Stop comparing ourselves with the ones who are better than us in terms of personal possession or physical appearance. In other words, learn to be grateful. If our nose is not as sharp as the white, make sure that our brain is sharper than the white. If we can't afford to buy a Ferrari, make sure that we really take good care of the ordinary car that we have. Make sure that the car that we have is SHINING all the time as we are proud of what we have. If our skin is not as white as the white, make sure our skin is healthy and glowing. If our house is not as big as Donald's Trump House, make sure that the house that we live in is full of LAUGHTER and LOVE. If we are not as tall as George Clooney, make sure that our QUALIFICATION is as high as the sky. If we are not as handsome as Brad Pitt, make sure that we are very clean, healthy and well-dressed. If you are not as beautiful as Nicole Kidman, make sure that you have something that Nicole Kidman does not have and you must embrace the STRENGTHS and develop that potential to the maximum.

There are so many wonderful things that we can do or achieve if we learn to LOVE ourselves, accept our weaknesses with open hart and mind and if we learn to know ourselves especially our STRENGTHS that have the power to drag the world to our KNEES.

How to reduce stress: Part One and Two

http://brainboxer.blogspot.com/2013/10/how-to-reduce-stress-part-two-effects.html

How to reduce stress (Part Two: Effects of stress)

If you are not a smoker, that does not mean that you are healthy and happy. If you are not a drunkard, it does not mean that you are healthy and happy. Why? Because, stress is another type of drug, a man-made drug that is blended pretty well with worries which can cause anyone to be very sick and sad even though if you are not a drug addict.

According to Malaysian Cancer Society, the main CAUSE of CANCER is stress. The second one is VEGETABLE and the third one is MEAT. We will talk about vegetable and meat in the next subject. Now I would like to focus on the EFFECTS of STRESS. If you wish to remain young and healthy, please continue reading the next paragraph. Otherwise, let us just hug and say goodbye.

First effect of stress: CANCER

Please follow these links to know more about cancer and stress: ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2400784/Stress-DOES-impact-cancer-Anxiety-switches-gene-speeds-spread-disease.html
http://psychcentral.com/lib/stress-a-cause-of-cancer/000754)

Second: Aging

Wrinkles are caused by stress because stress and worries are two BEST FRIENDS FOREVER.

Third: Losing friends

Those who fail to manage stress may live in isolation. They may become anti-social. As a matter of fact, most people stay away from people who cannot smile.

Fourth: sleep late or no sleep at all

Those who fail to deal with stress will think too much about his or her problems as if by thinking alone can solve everything. Due to constant negative perception or deadly theories of what might happen if the problem remains unsolved, the sleeping pattern will change for the worst and finally will lead to self-destruction.

Fifth: HOT-TEMPERED

Too much stress can make a man a monster. It gets worse when you have children. They might me your personal punching bag. Being a hot-tempered will cause you to DO MANY STUPID THINGS that will cause you to LIVE IN BLEEDING REGRETS.

SIXTH: Continuous conflicts with God

God will be your number one ENEMY if you don't manage your stress well. The blaming game will become a habit and it will jeopardize your faith in God. The bridge that you have created with God will collapse as you consider God is the cause of all the failures and disappointments that you have gone through in this life.

Seventh: Bad decision making

If you fail to control your stress, you will make many decisions that will RUIN you, your loved ones and the ones who care about you. Stress can really eat you alive.

In conclusion, the effects of stress can really give each of us a living hell if we don't learn to control stress because the most important gift that God has given us which is our BRAIN is supposed to help us to choose the right options.

Thank you for reading. The next article will be about how to reduce stress (Part 3: tips on how to reduce stress)

How to reduce stress? Part One (Understanding stress: Causes of stress)

Stress is a part of growing up. Stress is an abstract noun because we do not share the same level of stress and we also respond to stress in a very colorful manner. Stress can either destroy us or build us. Now let us look at the basic understanding of the word STRESS.

Pressure is another word for stress. In other words, stress is a collection of worries, isolation, sadness, disappointment, anger and confusion.

There are two main causes of stress ; the first one is natural stress and the second one is MAN-MADE STRESS. The first one is important because it helps us to find solutions as stress can be driven by our own sense of perfectionism.

The second one is destructive and dangerous because we have the power to reduce stress to the maximum as we are given the options in the first place to reduce the expected destruction.

My message is very simple. The main cause of the second type of stress is PROCRASTINATION. Let us play with these few examples.

1. Financial Problems (credit card)
We have used it, we continuously use it to the maximum when we have the chance to pay the small amounts when we have the money. However, we have spent the money on unnecessary things. I will let your imagination run wild on that subject.

2. Marital problems
Both parties refuse to talk about their   dissatisfaction through their years of marriage. They could have improved their marriage but because of their too much ego, they let procrastination play the role.

3. Students (Homework/assignments)
Without timetable, pile of work will become mountains of work. Students have made procrastination a permanent habit. Doing it later means you have to burn the midnight oil to complete all of the assignments. Students are not taught about the importance of priorities.

4. Bachelor/bachelorette
When you have the chance to marry someone who is not as perfect as you wish, you turn him or her down. You claim that you are still too young and you have millions of options to choose from. At the end of the day, when you have become too old to be productive enough to produce the next generations, regret is something that will follow you for the rest of your life. Perfectionism is the worst solution for any lonely souls out there.

How to be rich? Part one (SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE)

I read some books on how to be rich which are written by Robert Kiyosaki, Napoleon Hill, Andrew Carnegie, Rhonda Byrne , Anthony Robbins, Warren Buffet and many more to understand the art of getting rich. Basically, I am not saying that the books are not good. I just look at it from many different angels.

In my point of view, no matter how good the book is, if the reader fails to take concrete actions to pursue his or her dream, NOTHING will ever be achieved. IF YOU ARE NOT MENTALLY,PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY SWEATING, THAT MEANS YOU WILL BE GETTING NOTHING.

I feel quite disappointed when I read those HOW TO GET RICH BOOKS because I know that there are more secrets out there that the writer refuses to reveal. I understand it is a marketing strategy for repeated sales especially when you are trying to promote your books. Writers will normally keep some for themselves for future earnings form their second, third and fourth book just like Harry Porter and Lord Of The Rings.

Let me go deeper into my critical comments on the books. Please don't get me wrong okay. I am not saying that the books are not good . I just feel and believe that ALL RICH PEOPLE HAVE SECRETS THAT THEY WILL NEVER TELL ANYONE BECAUSE BEING RICH IS ONE OF THE SEVEN WONDERS ON EARTH.

I do like the Get Rich Books but I notice that the writers didn't specifically specify all the secrets in a specific manner.

Rich people or rich organization have secrets. Let us play with this list first.

1. KFC
2. Mcdonald
3. Singapore Chicken Rice
4. Levi's
5. Adidas
6. Nike
7. Microsoft
8. Apple
9. Samsung
10. Panasonic
11. Tefal
12. Pizza Hut
13. Wine Industry
14. Music Industry (sony)
15. Film industry (
16. Steel Industry
17. Animation Industry
18. Engineering
19. Military industry
20. Cosmetics Industry
21. Oil industry
and etc....as there are so many names and you can find them easily from internet. Almost everything is a click away as long as you have internet access.

I believe that the key to being rich is the deepest understanding about the subject that you are obsessed about. In other words, you really understand that subject that you can easily make profit out of that depth understanding. Again, in other words, you are the EXPERT in that particular subject. Below are some examples that you can play with. Perhaps, the examples may trigger a solution that can make you a money magnet.

Example 1

Grammarian: A person who does multiples researches on grammar in oerder to understand everything about grammar.

As this person understands grammar and has the abilities to come up with new approaches to teach grammar in a very simple manner that can help many people who can't speak and write good English or those who don't understand English, this grammarian  will have the authority to write grammar books. These grammar books will be sold locally and globally and eventually will give the grammarian the life that he or she has been longing which is to achieve financial independence. These books have become his or her sour of passive income. The repeated sales make him or her super rich. Another source of his or her income is he or she will be invited by schools and universities all over the world to give talk on grammar. This talk will give him or her a huge amount of money. Again, being an expert can make you a money magnet.

Example 2

Chef: The one who cooks at , restaurants hotels and resorts. The one who has a sufficient amount of knowledge on culinary.

Some chefs are trapped in their own comfort zone as they are happy or merely satisfied with their job as an ordinary chef. On the other hand, some chefs know that they can earn more if they work hard on innovative thinking. How does a chef become a multi-millionaire? This chef will create his or her own recipes that can blow you away, a taste that you will never forget for the rest of your life. These recipes will make him or her a chef that the world will recognize. As the world recognizes this extraordinary chef, he or she will be asked to share his cooking tips or secrets in the form of series of cooking magazines. This chef will also be invited to give a talk on cooking and perhaps will be asked to be the judge for international cooking competition. These two different events will generate a lot of money for any chefs who wish to go extra mile in their profession. The best thing is, his or her name will be his or her most beautiful asset and he or she can easily set up his or her own international restaurants which will surely draw regular customers. Again, this all about repeated sales.

Example 3

Miss World: A woman who is mentally, emotionally and socially beautiful and has been crowned as the most beautiful woman on earth through Miss World competition.

We have to know ourselves well especially our strengths. A woman who is beautiful but short physically will not stand a chance to join the miss world competition. My point is, a woman who is working very hard to improve her gift which is her beauty will stand a chance to be next miss world provided the woman embraces her beauty as some consider beauty as a curse. Once this woman gets the Miss World title, all the business deals on BEAUTY will approach her. Book publisher will get her to publish her biography. Cosmetic company will get her to promote their products such as SK2. Lingerie companies will get her to promote their garments. Lipstick companies will get her to promote their products. Fragrance companies will come in too. Can you imagine the amount of wealth that is coming into her life? Last but not least, there must be something in each of us that can cause to be the money magnet.

Example 4

Technology: I-phone

Many people around the globe know this name. His wealth has grown stronger even after his death. Unfortunately, he didn't live long enough to see the beauty of his creation. May God bless him.

Why is being prepared so important?

Let us play with this quote first. Those who suffer now, will enjoy the most later while those who enjoy themselves now, will suffer later. I understand that you and I will come up with many perspectives to rebut this common quote. For now, let us look at this quote from my point of view first, okay? Thank you.

Law of nature is REAL and FAIR. If w try to go against it, we will definitely suffer. You may read books on this topic which was written by Rhonda Byrne. A man cannot be a GREAT WRITER if that man hates READING. It is completely against the law of nature.

Now let us first talk about public speaking. A man who does not do research about the topic, afraid of people or anti-social, live in isolation, hates mirror, hates reading, hates himself, hates being looked at and etc. cannot be a good speaker. If we want to be a great speaker, we have to embrace all of our weaknesses and come up with concrete and practical solutions to improve our weaknesses. Furthermore, we have to understand why we have to speak well in public.

Second, let me talk about marriage. Some people get married because of bad or wrong reason such as sex, desperation, accident (unsafe intercourse), peer and family pressure, tired of masturbation, tradition, religious obligation, GENIUS DNA (**very funny**)  and hidden ill intentions specifically as a stepping stone to get super rich. How should we get married? How should we prepare ourselves before we say I do in public? We have to look deep into ourselves first and think of all the bad reasons mentioned earlier because bad intention will always end up with bad result. I myself got married because I wanted to triple my happiness. How about you? Before we get married, interview the married couples and those who experience divorce because these wise people will share with you a lot of things that you should consider before you create a man-made living hell. The only CAUSE of failure in marriage is A MORONIC STUBBORNNESS.

Thirdly, let me talk about business. Some people don't understand that business is not all about money. It is more than that because a real business is about CONNECTION or NETWORKING. In other words, we create millions of bridges with many nations to promote our products and services. These bridges represent the amount of trust that people have in our products. Do you need evidence? Okay. Do you know TOYOTA, APPLE, SAMSUNG, MICROSOFT, PANASONIC, MERCEDES, TEFAL and etc.? We remember these  BRANDS because we trust them. Trust draws MONEY. However, they have to lose first as they have to spend a huge amount of money on RESEARCH and MARKETING. Those newbies in business who wish to get rich fast will end up being a bankrupt because they refuse to lose first. In real business, real businessman is prepared to lose first. Why did I say that? Because business is about calculated and unexpected risk.

Finally, let me talk about about life after school. Some students might think that God will show mercy as they believe that faith can move mountains. How can God help us if we do nothing but PRAY? Do you think that God loves the lazy ones? Do you think that God loves that who hopes too much and makes very little effort to improve his life? To all students, the world only entertains the ones who have skills. The world pays no attention to the ones who play wait and see game. Focus on that SKILL, improve the skill until the WORLD remembers you. Evidence? Do you watch BRUCE LEE MOVIES? Do you know that his KICK is that fastest on EARTH? Because of the super fast kick, people are willing to be his students and pay him a lot of money. Movie directors are willing to shower him with PRIVILEGES because of his SPEED in martial art. Do you want more evidence? Steve Jobs for example. What kind of skill that he has? His specific skill is on Electronic Gadget.  In other words, it is called APPLE. Do you like APPLE I PHONES and COMPUTERS? Why do you like them? Because they are UNIQUE and WORTH YOUR PENNY. Let me give you one more evidence. Bill Gates. Do you know him? Bill Gates is the MICROSOFT'S husband. Can this world move EFFICIENTLY today without MICROSOFT? Bill Gates knows that the world needs something to assist them at work. That challenge causes him to be the innovator. Last but not least, study the subject not merely because of exams. Study the subject because you want the world to remember your name because your understanding of the subject will help you to create a solution to a problem that will draw WEALTH to you.

In conclusion, we cannot see tomorrow. However, we have been given the clues through a series of PROBLEMS that we face and see everyday and those PROBLEMS are the answers for our FUTURE. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoy brain-melting session.

How to teach noun in a beautiful and creative manner: Part One (For English teachers who teach English grammar)

Good morning everyone. How are you? I hope you are in the right mood to learn more about English grammar because I am going to teach you about noun in a beautiful and creative manner as I want everybody to understand grammar instead of running away from speaking and writing good English.

In this session, I will play with NOUN first.

What is a NOUN? Why must we know about noun? Why is noun so important? If you want to understand grammar, please pay attention to those three questions.

A noun is a word and that word represents a subject and that subject can be a human, animal, man-made creation or ideas. In English grammar, without a noun we cannot communicate properly because we don't have the right words or nouns to help others to understand our message.

Example 1 (a): Let's play with this example.

Brad: Honey, could you please buy some aaaa....emmm...aaaa...emmmmm...for me at the supermarket this afternoon?
Angel: What is that aaaa....emmmm..aaaa..eemmmmmm honey? I don't understand. Could you please be specific

This is called communication breakdown. You need to know the right noun or word to help you convey your message. So, what was missing in the dialogue above? A noun or more than one noun. Yes, you are definitely right. Shall we move on to the next level? Thank you.

Now let me improve the quality of this dialogue.

Example 1 (b):

Brad: Honey, could you please buy some chicken wings/milk/sugar/tea/magazine/a bottle of wine/supplements/honey/apples for me at the supermarket this afternoon?

Angel: No problem. Could you please reorganize all the THINGS that you have mentioned and if possible prepare a complete list of the ITEMS.

Which one is a noun? The noun is the THINGS or ITEMS that Brad mentioned in the dialogue. The living and the non-living things are NOUNS.

Now we know that noun can represent THINGS.

Next, let us move on to the next example. As mentioned earlier, a noun can represent people. Let's play with another example.

Example 2 (a):

Aaron: Wawa, could you please stop talking about your annoying past? I am sick of it
Wawa:  Aaron, could you please be more understanding?

Why did I highlight the words? Because they are NOUNS. The words Aaron, Wawa, you and I are nouns that represent PEOPLE or PERSONS. On the other hand, PAST and IT are NOUNS that refer to IDEAS. I will give more examples on that.

Example 3: Nouns that refer to ideas.

Mani: Honey, what should we do for this coming long holiday?
Agnes: How a about a vacation in Bali?
Mani: Can you tell me more about the level of hospitality of people in Bali?
Angel: All of them are very friendly. Their genuine friendliness will blow you away. Trust me.
Mani: Okay. I trust you. Let us book the tickets now so that we can create more wonderful memories

Why did I highlight the words? Because they are NOUNS that refer to IDEAS. Do you understand this very informal explanation? Well, if you don't please let me know which part that I should improve.

I will talk about types of nouns in the next session.

I hope you enjoy reading this food for the brain. See you!! Take care!!

What is economy? Part One.

The experts on economy have many terms to play with the word economy but I believe the economists purposely created many complicated terms for the word economy because they wanted the poor to remain poor as the poor do not really understand the economic terms. Perhaps, they are trained to be the victim of the economic circle. Despite all the complications of the economic terms, I will explain it in my own way to make you understand and perhaps it can trigger a solution to some economic problems.

Economy is
basically about
what we NEED
and
what we WANT

What do we need? We basically need food, garments and shelter. Do we have all of these? If we don't have it, we have to buy. Do we have the money to buy it? If we don't have the money to buy it, how can we fulfil our desire to have these basic necessities? There are some solutions to these before  the existence of money. Food such as meat and vegetables will be available to us if we have the land. We build a shelter on that land. This kind of economy is limited because the economic activities are conducted within your territory. Your economy looks very good because you have all the three things that you basically need as an ordinary human being.

Now let us proceed with  the role of money here. Now we have the things we need. How about the things that we want? We want a good car, vacation, new kitchen, a contemporary landscape for our ugly garden, a computer and internet access to keep up with the latest issues  and etc. Do we have enough money to have all these? How can we make money to buy all the things that we want?

First we have to look at our asset  that can generate money. When we sell the vegetables and the meat, we will make money. However, are there any buyers who are interested to buy our products? We have to get out of the comfort zone and look for buyers. When we have found the buyers, the economic activities have become more aggressive and alive because we are dealing with others to satisfy our continuous desire to have the things that we need and want.

The examples above are very simple and can be considered very clean in the eyes of morality. However, how can economic activities become ugly? Most of the time, the main cause is the ugly competition or the buyers become manipulative. For example, when the sellers want to sell the vegetables and the meat, there many people out there who have been doing the same business. Therefore, the price that he has been expecting will somehow hurt him in the end of the business deal. On the buyer's side, the buyers may know that the seller's products are very good. However, in order to maximize his profit if he resells the meat and vegetables, this buyer will start playing with the market price and perhaps diseases to fool the sellers. This happens everyday locally and internationally if you know what I mean.

There are basically two options for the seller. The first one is to continue improving the quality of his products or continue looking for the best buyers for his products. This is tiring but the fruit is always sweet because I believe that not all of the apples are ROTTEN.

I guess that is all for now. Thank you for reading.

How to improve our education system. Part 2 (teachers)

1. Are the teachers well trained by the well trained lecturers?

Well-trained lecturers: Lecturers who have been involved in a particular subject for at least 10 years before he or she becomes a lecturer. (There are lecturers who become lecturers because of their outstanding result, not because of their years of teaching experiences) Furthermore, were they trained on how to teach effectively by their previous well-trained trainers? We should always understand this beautiful quote which reads if we expect the best, we must always learn to give the best.

Solution: Lecturers must be chosen among those who understand the beauty of learning. University students will learn a lot in the classroom if the lecturers chose to be a motivator instead of being a dictator. Lecturers should always push students's potential to the limit to promote thinking skills among the university students or future teachers because we expect the future teachers to do the same students at secondary and primary schools. On the other hand, lecturers must also be given the freedom to express their views from many angels without fear and favour. This freedom will promote thinking activities between students and lecturers. The lecturers must also be the ones who love balance in life and practice this concept in his or her real life. We need lecturers who promote positive values in life.

2. Have the teachers been taught properly at the university or teacher's training college on how to teach that particular subject in many different ways through innovative, creative and critical thinking skills

Solution: Lecturers, who are critical thinkers should guide the future teachers on how to teach a particular subject in many amazing ways. I believe that each student have brilliant ideas on how to get the students to understand an unknown subject. The variety of teaching approaches can be our asset which indeed can be considered as intellectual property.  New strategies should be welcomed not despised. Thinking skills should be a subject that exceeds any subjects if we wish to create more thinkers to develop our country, way faster than our neighbouring countries.

3. Did the teachers learn about the importance of LIFE-LONG LEARNING when they were in universities? There are teachers who refuse to improve their understanding on their own subject due to comfort zone. Consequently, these teachers will not be able to create new teaching strategies.

Solution: Teachers must be taught about the importance of having a genuine passion or love for the teaching profession. Teachers must understand that without LOVE, learning in the classroom will never take place. Teachers must love his or her own subject and his or her students. Love helps the teacher to fight back or to get back on track if he or she gives up when the students give up.

4.  Does the teacher understand what he or she is teaching? A teacher must master the subject first before he or she makes others understand the subject.

Solution: The government can't afford to send all students for overseas education. If we were to do that, we will DEFINITELY be the next GREECE. The most practical solution should be our own personal initiatives. Let me give you some examples which are my own examples.

I have never been to any English-speaking countries to master this language. Wait and see is not a solution to this hurdle. What I did was I bought a lot of English movies, chose the correct actors (who speaks beautiful and proper English) and try to emulate their speaking style and intonation. That is how I improved myself, to learn how to express myself correctly through movies. In other words, the high quality subtitles help me a lot in terms of pronunciation and vocabulary. In terms of grammar, I created my own notes on the amount of my own understanding about a particular chapter. The notes are very simple but very understandable. University students must be able to really understand the chapters of a particular subject based on the notes given by the lecturers. At any universities, the TESL students are taught about grammar and phonetics. It is impossible for these future teachers to give any unacceptable excuses that they didn't learn about these two critical subjects. All we have to do is EMBRACE LIFE-LONG LEARNING to develop our understanding on the previous subjects that we learned in university. Allowing ourselves to be trapped in the comfort zone is completely detrimental to the progress of the quality and achievement of our education system.

5. Does the teacher know the differences between teaching and educating? Teaching does not require connection while educating requires the deepest connection between the teachers and the students.

Teaching has limitations while educating goes beyond the horizon. Teaching creates an incomplete bridge while educating creates all the bridges on earth.

Solution: Teachers must be motivated continuously by the administrators and the government to teach from their heart instead of teaching for the sake of teaching. Get the teachers to experience both failure and success with the students. Get both parties to enjoy the dark and good sides of learning. Control our expectations as teachers because our main objective is not perfection but IMPROVEMENT. We should give a round of applause for the tiniest achievement before we enjoy the sweetest fruits of education.

6. Is teaching a preferred profession among the young minds? Is it a first choice? If it is the last choice due to financial security and society's old perception, teachers cannot teach effectively.

Solution: Are our teachers overpaid, well-paid or underpaid? We must know the facts first. If they are underpaid, increase their pay, allowances and privileges if we are really concerned about the importance of good education. As long as I can remember, the best does not come CHEAP. Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do's fee was the most expensive before in U.S.A. The teachers must feel that they are well respected by the society. Who wants to be a teacher if the teachers can only afford to buy a CRATE which is meant for the dog? Who wants to be a teacher if second-hand low quality car is the teacher's only choice for transportation? If we only learn to take good care of the teacher's welfare, the rest of our worries will take  good care of themselves.

Thank you for reading. Feel free to add some more because this blog is meant for THINKERS. Your comments are highly appreciated. I always believe that those who spend more on education will always be ahead of others.

How to improve our education system? Part One.

How to improve our education system?

Part One.

Title: Facilities. (Non-living things)

Let us play with these questions first.

1. Does each school have sufficient number of the computers and internet access?

2. Does each school have enough classes?

3. Does each school have enough chairs and tables?

4. Is each class provided with LCD Projector, a computer, a printing machine and a mini cabinet for teachers and students to store reading materials?

5. Does each school have a proper field for rugby and football?

6. Does each school have a proper training center such as badminton court, squash court, mini swimming pool, tennis court and a mini gym?

7. Does each school have a mini theater for students to develop their acting and managing skills specifically on stage management?

8. Does each school have a proper hall for teachers and students to organize multiple activities?

9. Does each dormitory have enough bathrooms, toilets, mattress, pillows, bedrooms, fans, and etc. to motivate students to meet our unthinkable expectations?

How to be a thinker?

I suggest we play with these questions first before we move on with the deliberation.

Do we admire a person who is a great thinker?

Do we want to be like him or her?

How did they become a thinker?

What did they do that we always fail to do?

How should we begin?

Let us play with these quotations first. If you don't really understand it, you can give comments. I will respond to it as soon as I can but I do not entertain anonymous because a coward is not and cannot be a THINKER.

QUOTATIONS
for
FUTURE THINKERS
or
ORDINARY THINKERS...

1. I don't have the BEST solutions for you because YOU are the only one who has the BEST solution because we do not share the same problems. Only thinking can melt our frozen mind.

2. As long as I can remember, those who think will always find solution. On the other hand, those who do not think, will always be trapped by their own fear and worries.

3. Those who learn to love the subjects that they hate will always be a great thinker.

4. Comfort zone is the main cause of extinction among the potential thinkers.

5. Worries, if left untreated will kill all the thinking neurons that we need to develop our thinking skills.

6. A thinker will always look for new ideas and approaches because a thinker is always hungry of being better than yesterdays

7. Running away from problems will never make us a thinker because the accumulated problems are just like volcanic eruptions. Those volcanic eruptions will come with casualties while accumulated problems will cause us to lose everything that we should have achieved if we learn to divide the accumulated problems.

8. A thinker looks deep into a simple matter while a non thinker will just glance at everything.

9. A thinker sits down because he is thinking, while a non thinker sits down because of an escape plan.

I will give you more quotes on how to think...

See you soon.

I hope the quotes will help melt a frozen north pole
