How to reduce stress (Part 3: Practical tips on how to reduce stress)

As mentioned before, procrastination can be considered the MOTHER of all stress because it is a MAN-MADE STRESS. Now that we already know the causes and effects of stress, let us together learn how we can manage stress to the maximum because too much stress has mad the world an uglier place to live in.

Solutions

1. Do not allow procrastination become your permanent habit. Let me give you an analogy. Can you swallow a whole chicken? No one can do that. We have to start a chunk or perhaps we can start with wings. Nevertheless, we can never swallow a wing because our trachea is not designed to swallow over-sized food. And because we are not flamingos which can swallow a fish.  Divide the workload and do it one by one according to priorities. If this becomes a habit,  we will be able to enjoy a life without destructive or unnecessary stress.

2. Do not try to make EVERYTHING perfect because nothing can be perfect and because MAN-MADE CREATION can never be perfect because time and termites will take away all of the things or people that we love. Furthermore, the word perfection is too subjective to be debated. The single ones should learn to be practical when it comes to getting a soul mate. No one on earth will perfectly meet our expectation or OUR PERFECT IMAGINATION. There will be a lot of repairs to be done throughout the relationship, friendship or marriage because EVERYTHING IS A LEARNING PROCESS. If that person please your eyes PHYSICALLY, that does not mean everything is perfect internally. If everything is so perfect, God would have created everything  on earth so that we can be the best SLOTH on earth. God wants us to make up some efforts to beautify this world by giving us a MYSTERIOUS but POWERFUL BRAIN to assist us throughout this roller coaster.

3. Too much stress and WORRIES cannot solve our problems. Previous wise scholars and well-known writers have mentioned about this repeatedly through thousands of publications. Even the holy books mentioned the same thing. As stated earlier, too much stress or worries can really destroy our connection with our Creator. Only positive and concrete actions can help us solve our problems and reduce our worries. Albert Einstein used to say that insanity is expecting a different result by doing the same thing. If our own bad habits are causing us to worry unnecessarily, do something about it, not just sit there thinking about it and end up doing nothing  about it. We cannot just sit there hoping for others or ANGELS to give us the solutions all the time. God has given us the BRAIN and HEART to assist us to find the most suitable solutions to help us solve our problems.

4. Stop comparing ourselves with the ones who are better than us in terms of personal possession or physical appearance. In other words, learn to be grateful. If our nose is not as sharp as the white, make sure that our brain is sharper than the white. If we can't afford to buy a Ferrari, make sure that we really take good care of the ordinary car that we have. Make sure that the car that we have is SHINING all the time as we are proud of what we have. If our skin is not as white as the white, make sure our skin is healthy and glowing. If our house is not as big as Donald's Trump House, make sure that the house that we live in is full of LAUGHTER and LOVE. If we are not as tall as George Clooney, make sure that our QUALIFICATION is as high as the sky. If we are not as handsome as Brad Pitt, make sure that we are very clean, healthy and well-dressed. If you are not as beautiful as Nicole Kidman, make sure that you have something that Nicole Kidman does not have and you must embrace the STRENGTHS and develop that potential to the maximum.

There are so many wonderful things that we can do or achieve if we learn to LOVE ourselves, accept our weaknesses with open hart and mind and if we learn to know ourselves especially our STRENGTHS that have the power to drag the world to our KNEES.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day.
